Effingham County ETSB/Enhanced 911

The county has a talkgroup for the county to communicate with Altamont, Teutopolis, and those other smaller towns with officers.  Altamont does answer its own calls during the day but all license information is ran through the county, during the night the country answers call for Altamont.  Altamont uses its own freq which I am not sure about in the day but at night they use the 800 MHz handhelds/ mobiles.  PD has no base radio, I would say around 3 pm they go to the 800 system.

Also meant to mention that I believe that Effingham FD has a talkgroup on the trunked system they are paged and do some communications on the 154.430 which is their paging freq but then after so long they switch over to the trunked like a fireground freq.  I know this is also the the system which the chief's, Lt, and other personnel use to go 10-41 and 10-42.  They also do daily radio checks around I believe 7-8 AM.
