Comment:   Montgomery County is one of the few Sheriff's/Police Dept's in the area to still be using low band.   It is probably time that they switched to a high band (or UHF) repeater for the safety of their officers and to better provide service to the public.  This is a LINK to my recommendations.  Also, Montgomery County 911 needs to add pl or DCS tones to their 154.325 dispatch to prevent interference from St. Louis County Fire Departments.  Currently Hillsboro and Litchfield Fire/EMS and some other agencies DO NOT have a CTCSS tone on their dispatch.
3/1/03 UPDATE - Montomgery County Sheriff has now filed for a new High Band Repeater on the frequencies that I suggested

2/1/04 UPDATE - Apparently Montgomery County Sheriff is now using their new Highband frequencies

7/23   The Montgomery County Sheriff's Department just added a new Harley-Davidson Road King to its fleet.   Sheriff JIM VAZZI says this Harley "hog," which has a sticker price of $17,000, was leased for $1 a year.
